Who is the devil?
The devil (he is also Satan, he is also Lucifer) inthe representation of Christians is the main opponent of the Heavenly Powers and the Lord Himself, the manifestation of Darkness and Chaos. The word "devil" means "crafty", "slanderer" (for comparison, "Satan" - "enemy", "slanderer").
History of the Devil
When translated into Greek main book -The Old Testament - the name diabolos is used to replace the Hebrew satan and designates the being, the angel who fulfilled the original will of God ("The Book of Job"). But later the angel-like creature thought too much of itself and wanted to worship the angel as God. Over time, this image undergoes changes in the New Testament and is transformed into an "enemy" - the culprit of all human misfortunes.
So who is the Devil and whether he exists onReally? A complex issue that requires more than one line of text! From the point of view of believing people - and there are many of them on the whole Earth - the Devil exists unconditionally, like the Lord. After all, this opposition of these two (light and dark) lies at the base of many world religions.
Interestingly, even some hardened atheistsand scientists recognize the existence in the subconscious of man some kind of dark forces that justify his negative behavior and determine the fate of all kinds of maniacs and murderers. So: judge for yourself!
On how to correctly carry out the call of the dark forces, read in the article How to sell the devil soul.
