What is charisma?
To have charisma is the destiny of a few, but a dream,probably, of each person. Today the very word charisma can be met too often. From that it faded, dimmed and lost its original meaning. This happened because many people, not knowing the precise definition of this concept, simply squandered its meaning, increasingly using it not in the case. So, what is charisma?
The word "charisma" passed to us from the Greeks and intranslation means "gift". This value came from religious philosophy and earlier implied a special quality of the individual person, which caused people to believe in his boundless possibilities, being at the same time a symbol of worship.
The classical definition of this word was givensociologist M. Weber, as the quality of the personality, which is recognized as extraordinary, due to which the personality is judged as rewarded by supernatural, superior to human strength properties, abilities inaccessible to others.
Now "charisma" defines special qualitiespersonalities that evoke respect, faith in its capabilities and the ability to enthrall itself, possessing the makings of a leader. The well-known expression "this person has charisma" defines a person as creating a strong impression, yielding to which, people are ready to follow their leader.
Leaders of antiquity include Genghis Khan,Napoleon, Lenin, Pugachev, Hitler. As we know from history, all these individuals possessed a special gift to attract people to themselves and lead them, bypassing the notions of a positive and negative hero.
To present charismatic personalities carry notonly politicians and military leaders, but also the stars of cinema, variety. After all, both of them are able to attract the special attention of others, to inspire their own vision of the situation, to convince them that they are right.
How to develop charisma
- Each person by nature is unique. Having its own characteristics, to some extent it attracts others, even not many. Charisma has been developing since childhood. Therefore, parents should praise their child and in no case should not be humiliated. It depends on his further adult life, it will be easier for him to get used to the environment and build relationships with people. People who have grown up in love since childhood have more chances to become charismatic leaders, because they are not afraid to make mistakes and believe in themselves.
