The court will consider the case of fraud with the land in the suburbs
The investigative unit of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Central Federal District submitted to the court a criminal case opened against a former assistant of the State Duma, who is accused of fraud with land in the Moscow region for more than 1 billion rubles, reports the press service of the Department
“The criminal case is connected with large-scale land frauds with land near Moscow. The former assistant of the State Duma’s deputy Konstantin Komissovsky, who is accused of fraud and legalization of property acquired by criminal means, and the general director of Land Resources Dmitry Barmin, are taking place in this case, said the Interior Ministry spokesman.
Both defendants came to the attention of law enforcement agencies in 2005. Then several shareholders of Glebovskoe CJSC applied to the police with a statement about the theft of their land plots located in the Istrinsky district of the Moscow region. According to the investigation, the owners of the land suffered damage amounting to about 1 billion 200 million rubles.
“At first, those who wanted to sell a part of their land property were offered a single sample of power of attorney that legally satisfied landowners. Later, in the sample documents, the wording of the transferred powers was deliberately changed, and the scammers had the right to dispose of someone else's property, ”said the Interior Ministry official.
During searches of the accused, documents and fake stamps were seized, which confirm the intention of the participants in the criminal group to seize land in Istrinsky, Chekhovsky, Serebryano-Prudsky and other areas of the region.
In this case, some deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation were questioned, who provided cover to the participants of frauds with land plots, and later tried to impede the investigation.
