"Russian aluminum wheels" will build a new plant
The Russian Aluminum Disks trading company from St. Petersburg plans to launch a plant for the production of aluminum wheel disks for cars in Ulyanovsk by the end of 2010, the press service of the Ulyanovsk region informs.
The corresponding investment agreement was signed by the governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov and the general director of ZAO Plant Russian Aluminum Disks Denis Shishko.
The new plant, the volume of investments in which will amount to 2.5 billion rubles, is planned to be built in the industrial zone of the Trans-Volga region. The plant will be organized at least 400 jobs with high wages, - said Sergey Morozov.
According to Shishko, the company decided to build a plant in Ulyanovsk for a number of reasons. Among them, a good geographical position of the region, the investment policy of the regional government and the existing potential of the region in the automotive industry.
The products of the plant will be supplied to car assembly plants of world concerns located in Russia, to domestic automakers, as well as to the retail market.
