Postcards for the holiday World Day of the Patient
Good day! In 1991, John Paul II was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, a disease that was discovered much later. It is noteworthy that the Pope of Rome established World Patient Day a year after the news of his diagnosis.
World Day of the Sick, celebrated in 2005, was of particular importance, since 2005 was the year of the death of John Paul II. For the first time, World Patient Day was celebrated on February 11, 1993. The date was chosen due to the fact that Catholics of the whole world have been celebrating the Day of the Sick since February 11th. It was on this day in the French town of Lourdes many centuries ago the appearance of the Mother of God occurred. The Holy Virgin, Our Lady of Lourdes of Lourdes, healed the afflicted, thus becoming the symbol of the savior of the sick.

Greeting Cards World Day of the Sick
It so happened that our health is not always in complete safety and we sometimes get sick.Today, on World Day of the Sick, I want to wish that in our world there are fewer viruses and dangerous microbes, so that more opportunities appear to ensure the protection of a person from diseases and illness. I wish you strong strength and high immunity, pep and joyful days without symptoms of sadness and weakness.
