How to make a toy out of paper?
Toys made of paper can be diverse andvery beautiful. They are short-lived, but they are inexpensive and very beautiful! You can do them with your own child. So, consider several options for how to make a toy of paper: cubes, puppet theater, Christmas decorations on a Christmas tree.
In order to make cubes, you will need thick paper, glue-pencil, scissors. If you work with the child, then you need to take the scissors with rounded ends and not very sharp.
Take first a thin paper and draw a pattern. In order for the child's hand to take the next cube in his hand, the edge should be 4-5 cm. Draw a square with a side of 5 cm on the paper. Draw 3 more squares next to it so that they have common lateral faces. Then, to the third square from above and below, draw another square. Now, to each face, you need to draw a gluing valve, these are rectangles 0.5 cm wide with edges cut at an angle of 45 degrees. If you do not want to draw the valves, you will glue the edges with strips from the outside. It looks beautiful if the strips are of contrasting color in relation to its sides. Pattern is ready, paint it on dense colored paper. Usually in the kit there are 9 cubes. So, copy the pattern 9 times. Cut, bend along the sides of the cube and glue. But now we'll think about how to decorate our toy. Take a bright picture from the children's magazine. On it should be a large depiction of some fairy-tale hero. Cut out the square 15 by 15 cm. Then cut it into 9 squares 5 by 5 cm. Fold the cubes next to them, lay out the pictures on them and glue them. It turned out a toy, which can be disassembled and then collected with the child. You can pick up 5 more such pictures and paste all the sides, and you can paste letters, numbers, mathematical signs on the remaining clean sides. And play for health!
The next story, how to make a toy out of paper, teach us how to make a puppet theater. That is, dolls that will be actors in your home theater. Cut out a circle with a radius of 15 cm from thick paper. Then cut it into two semicircles. This is the basis of two dolls. Fold the semicircles into a cone and glue along the seam. Place the cone on the table, this is the body of our doll. And now think, what fairy tale will you put? Turnip? Excellent! We do the Grandfather. Draw on paper the face of this hero, draw your eyes, mustache, beard, hat. Now cut out and glue the face to the cone. We make hands: on the sides of the cone we cut openings with a diameter of 1 cm. We glue the paper tube 12 cm long, insert it into the prepared holes. Along the edges we glue hands. We color Grandfather - draw his pants, a shirt with a belt, a patch on his elbow. By the same principle, we do Babka and Granddaughter. Animals from this tale can be made lower in height, i.e. circles cut smaller diameter.
Remember the famous paper chains! This is the most important Christmas ornament! Cut out a strip of long 10 and 1.5 cm wide from multi-colored paper. Glue the first ring, then pass one strip into the finished ring and glue the edges together. And so on - to infinity!
When you think how to make a toy out of paper, remember the flashlight! Take a bright square of paper with a side of 15 cm, fold it in half. Draw the cut lines from the fold to the edge, not reaching 1 cm. The lines are drawn through each centimeter. Now glue the edges along the seam. It turned out a large tube with cut sides. Take the now contrasting color paper with sides 15 by 10 cm. Glue the side 10 cm along the seam. And now cut the slice on the solid, glue the round edges. So our flashlight turned out!
