Helmets for car enthusiasts from January 1, 2018
If the car is not equipped with airbags, its owner will be obliged to wear a special helmet. The document on the official form of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia with this wording - helmets for motorists from January 1, 2018 will become an obligatory attribute, as the first-aid kit has spread on the Internet and has caused bewilderment of the Russians. At the same time, aroused car owners did not pay attention to an important detail - allegedly the order of the department was distributed on the eve of April 1, the world-famous day of fools.
Protective helmets for car owners will be required
The order with number three sevens and with the signature of the minister, police general Vladimir Kolokoltsev, caused a huge resonance on the Internet and not only. The text of the document entitled “On amendments and changes to the rules of the road” says that the amendment to the traffic rules, according to which protective helmets will become mandatory for all car owners whose vehicles are not equipped with airbags, will come into force on April 10 of this year.At the same time, the order states that this measure applies only to territories outside the city.
This document was vigorously discussed in social networks and instant messengers - the scan of the order looks pretty convincing: the official cap of the law enforcement agency, the stamp on the registration of the order in the Ministry of Justice, the signature of the police general. Discussions were conducted with the utmost seriousness that representatives of the ministry had to give an official comment on this matter.
«The publication of the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia of March 28, 2017 No. 777 “On amendments and changes to the rules of the road” is not true", Said the spokesman for the Interior Ministry, Irina Volk.
In this case, few of the participants in public discussions drew attention to the date of issuance of the order and the date of its registration. More attentive users of Runet realized that this scan is actually a common April Fools ’draw, which received wide publicity.

Meanwhile, this is not the first such rally. The joke about the helmet for drivers came from neighboring Kazakhstan, where it was published in a regional newspaper. Moreover, the authors of the article indicated that it was an April Fools rally. The news received hype due to the fact that someone, having taken a snapshot of the article, removed the line with the April Fool's greetings. Kazakhstani law enforcement officers also had to come up with an official denial of this “news”.
New laws - new unrest
Meanwhile, the new law and some amendments to the rules of the road can cause an extremely negative reaction in society. For example, in Argentina, local bikers staged a protest. Thus, they disagree with the new rules of the road, according to which, on motorcycle helmets need to be applied license plates.
The authorities reported that this is a necessary measure, which, they hope, will reduce the number of crimes committed on two-wheeled vehicles. It is no secret that a thug who ripped a bag or a purse out of the hands of a passerby is unlikely to be caught. And having a license plate on a motorcycle helmet will greatly facilitate the task of identification.Argentine bikers consider this innovation a violation and a gross interference with privacy.
