A draft of the first of the buildings of the exhibition center on the territory of the former Serp & Molot plant in Moscow has been developed. This was announced by the chief architect of the capital, Alexander Kuzmin.
According to him, the premises of the plant will be reconstructed, and the production will lead to the village of Yartsevo, Smolensk region. After reconstruction, the exhibition center will be located on the territory of the “Hammer and Sickle”.
According to the architect, such a reconstruction will solve the problem of shortage of exhibition space in the capital.
“Most of the plant’s territory will be developed as a modern All-Russian Exhibition Center (All-Russian Exhibition Center),” Alexander Kuzmin said today during a speech at a public hearing on the capital’s general plan for the South-Eastern administrative district.
The exhibition complex will be located on the industrial territory of the plant, starting from the Ploshchad Ilyicha metro station.
